Online Search of the Collection
A large part of the museum collection is now available digitally. You can search for artworks in our online database.
Request a Loan
The Hof van Busleyden Museum collection consists of more than 24,000 objects: a combination of tapestries, paintings, drawings, metal objects and sculptures. To increase the visibility of this rich collection, many of the objects are available for outbound loans.
Each request is handled individually by the collection team. The possibility of a loan depends on the content and technical details, as well as the condition of the object in question. If you have any questions, you can always get in touch with the collection team.
There is no administration fee for requesting a loan. The borrower must, however, arrange for insurance and transportation.
All loan requests must be submitted to the museum by email or post at least 6 months before the start of the project and be accompanied by a Facility Report. The request must include the following information: organiser, project title, dates, location, contact information for the person in charge and a list of all the objects requested.
