The museum is in the heart of the city, within walking distance of the Grote Markt and the majority of Mechelen's tourist attractions. By Train
Head for Mechelen station (1.6 kilometres) or Mechelen Nekkerspoel station (850 metres). The quickest way to reach us is by foot from Mechelen-Nekkerspoel railway station. Take the pedestrian bridge over the water. Walk along Keizerstraat, turn right towards Veemarkt and continue on Biest to Frederik de Merodestraat.

By Bus
Several buses stop beside the museum. Choose the stops at Biest (30 metres) or Veemarkt (300 metres).
By Bike
You can park your bike safely in the bike racks provided outside the museum on Sint-Janstraat.
By Car
On the E19 take exit 9 for Mechelen-Noord. Parking is available within walking distance of the museum at the Tinel or Veemarkt car parks (300 metres).

Please note! Many streets in Mechelen have limited car access during certain hours. The museum itself is in a low-traffic zone. You are not permitted to enter Sint Janstraat between 11 am and 6 pm. Entering the street during these hours will incur a fine.
